Weight Loss Program


Our Weight Talk® personal coaching program is designed to achieve measurable, sustainable weight loss. 

Unlike “self-help” weight loss products, the Weight Talk® program is delivered through regular phone-based coaching sessions with a dedicated coach,  registered dietitian, or fitness specialist. The experience is highly personalized, deeply supportive, and proven effective. Participants set realistic weight loss goals and then learn how, through small, tailored changes across multiple behaviors, to achieve and maintain a healthy weight for the rest of their lives. Participants can expect a reduction in weight by at least 5 percent, increased knowledge and confidence, and significant improvements in nutrition, activity, stress, blood pressure, cholesterol, and overall health.

Personal Coaching:

  • 11 scheduled phone-based sessions with a dedicated coach, registered dietitian, or fitness specialist
  • 1 scheduled phone-based evaluation session
  • Unlimited inbound phone access to coaches
  • Activities assigned for completion between coaching calls
  • Unlimited e-coaching via email, live chat, and online forum

Engagement Tools: 

  • Fitlinxx® Actiped. Uploads steps, calories burned, distance, and activity duration wirelessly to the Weight Talk® website.
  • In Home BioIQ A1C/Diabetes and Cholesterol Panel Test Kit (optional). Results available via the Weight Talk® website. 
  • Getting Started Guide, Tape Measure, Food Journal
  • Monthly e-Newsletter

The 10 Essential Practices

The Weight Talk® learning curriculum is structured around ten evidence-based practices designed to help participants achieve their goals.

  1. Mastering the Art of Eating Well. Learn the elements of a satisfying, whole foods-based diet as you discover the pleasure of nutritious eating.
  2. Sitting Less, Moving More. Increase your activity level and regain energy and vitality while burning calories.
  3. Managing Your Stress. Recognize your stressors, and use mindfulness and self-nurturing to prime your body for weight loss.
  4. Defeating Negative Thoughts. Replace unhelpful self-talk with a positive perspective and improved body image.
  5. Gaining Control of Your Environment. Modify your surroundings — at home and at work — so healthy options are the only options.
  6. Managing Your Time. Carve out more time for healthy eating, exercise and sleep by adjusting your priorities and your schedule.
  7. Navigating Difficult Situations. Learn to make healthy choices when you dine out, attend parties, and travel.
  8. Keeping the Weight Off. Enjoy your success while upping your activity level, varying your diet, and strengthening your skills.
  9. Rebounding from Lapses. Adopt the mindset and strategies that prevent minor slip-ups from sabotaging all you have achieved.
